Job Description

About the Graduate Programme

As a Graduate Paramedic you will be required to provide the highest possible standard of patient care in a consistently efficient, effective, and professional manner.

Start your journey with a comprehensive induction programme designed to set you up for success. This includes a blend of online learning, immersive classroom-based training (approximately one week), and hands-on on-road experience. You’ll build a solid foundation in our systems, equipment, and clinical environment, ensuring you feel confident stepping into practice

Following induction, you’ll enter our structured 12-month Graduate Programme, working alongside experienced preceptors who will support your transition into autonomous practice. You’ll benefit from a combination of guided on-road experience, structured learning, and reflective practice, with ongoing support from our Clinical Education team.

As part of your development, you’ll be supported to achieve your EMT Authority to Practice (ATP) within your first six months. With continued experience and consolidation of your clinical skills, you’ll then progress toward attaining your Paramedic ATP in the following year.

This is a full-time role, and we are seeking applicants who will be available to start on the 26th of January 2027.

The assessment days are likely to be held from the 28th of September to the 5th of October 2026. Those outside our region will be required to attend an online Assessment.
